GMIM International Kick-Off Meeting@JHU: Recent Advances in Biomedical Imaging and Systems Engineering

In November 2012 the BMBF Consortium German Medical Imaging in Motion (GMIM) together with the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) held the campaign’s International Kick-Off Meeting for participating researchers, doctoral candidates, and industry representatives from the fields of biomedical imaging, biomedical engineering, biomedical informatics, and related fields.

The Meeting aims at providing the participants with the newest insights in recent developments in clinical and preclinical imaging modalities as well as in systems engineering both in the Munich Area and at Johns Hopkins University. Furthermore, the meeting intends to foster handing in an international research proposal both to the DFG and NSF/NIH in the field of systems engineering and biomedical imaging. Therefore we will identify possible topics, collaborations and develop the necessary skills. TUM-GSISH/IMETUM who are the coordinating bodies of the GMIM consortium cordially invite their project partners, faculty and doctoral candidates to join the Meeting.
